Information you can give to the potential web company

If you are a Bristol based company and are looking for web design Bristol, then you are lucky enough to live in an area of the country that has quite a few web design companies to choose from, ranging from the one man bands through to multi staff agencies that service big names all over the country.
It is important that before you decide on having a website, you spend enough time researching what you want and preparing an initial specification for the potential web design Bristol firms, because not only does this help them to understand exactly what you are looking for, it also allows them to quote more accurately when it comes to giving you a price to work with.
The more information you can give to the potential web company, the better, as not only can it help you get the right kind of quote, but can also help to make sure that they actually deliver on what you want and provide the solution that you are looking for. It is important to remember that there is no “one size fits all” attitude in the web design industry, meaning that the better your specification; the more likely it is they can meet you requirements.

SEO Cheltenham is the way you need to push your website

Every website owner knows the importance of being high up in the search engines, with being on the front the page the least you need to expect to really see traffic and therefore enquiries and sales arriving from your website, which is where SEO Cheltenham really comes into play for businesses operating in the City.
Business is hard these days and more and more businesses are fighting for the same leads and sales, which means that if you are not ranking highly in the search engines than how can you expect customers to find you?
SEO Cheltenham is the way you need to push your website, because partnering with a reputable and reliable SEO firm in the area is going to get you results, if they do their job right of course! SEO is quite a skill, some would say an art, and you really do need a basic knowledge of how to ethically and productively utilise optimisation techniques to really push forward your website and make it more visible.
Of course, you need to back this up with a decent website as well, because if you are attracting lots of traffic but your website is poor, you are wasting your money and their time, so try to make sure you have both covered as a business.

SEO company will always have happy and satisfied customers

If you have decided that your business or website needs some search engine optimisation, then it is now time to choose the right SEO Cardiff company to work with, because if you pick the wrong one, it could dent your trust in the industry forever more.
One of the biggest mistakes that many webmasters make when it comes to choosing an SEO firm to work with is just going for the cheapest or the ones with the pushiest sales guys. You must remember that every SEO company has different packages and although it is indeed important to go with one that you can afford, it is even more important to go with one that is going to get you results.
For example, what is the point of spending £150 a month for 12 months and getting no results when you could spend £300 for 6 months and get some really sound rankings? SEO takes time and money if you are going to use another company to do it for you, so it’s vital that you spend what you can afford, whilst being realistic about what you are going to achieve from this project.
A good SEO company will always have happy and satisfied customers, so make sure you ask around and speak to their previous clients before you hand over the first cheque.

Online marketing Gloucestershire

Being a business based in the idyllic county of Gloucestershire can often prevent many challenges, one of which is attracting new business to help things keep ticking over and keeping the supply of new projects or sales consistent and apparent, which is where online marketing Gloucestershire can really come into play.
Being a large county spread over many and often massive areas means that getting new business from normal sources of advertising like paper adverts and flyers can be difficult, because you would have to target many areas that might not be of relevance to you, which of course can lead to wasted money and expenditure.
Online marketing Gloucestershire means that you can target one county using online methods, including SEO, email marketing and cost per click, leaving you in full control over what you are doing and more importantly, who you are targeting. For example, if you wanted to target Cheltenham, Stroud and the Forest of Dean, using online marketing is such an effective way to sort this, without attracting the areas that you are not particularly interested in at that moment in time.

Speak highly of an SEO

When it comes to SEO Bristol, it is important that if you are a Bristol based company considering hiring an SEO company, that you look for one that is reliable, trustworthy and above all has proven results in the industry.
There has been a rise of companies setting up claiming to offer “SEO”, but because search engine optimisation is such a skill, you must be very wary about which company you go on to use, as if you pick one that uses dodgy or questionable techniques, then you could soon see your site dive out of Google and at the same time, you actually paid for it to happen!
Always make sure that you check their results and speak to customers that they have worked for, because you will quickly learn that only people that have seen results will speak highly of an SEO company, because the industry is so results driven.
SEO should never be just about price, because if you want to be in the top ten for a competitive keyword, you are not going to achieve this on a low budget, so always make sure that you are realistic with what you want to achieve and make sure you throw enough money at it to really make moves.

Why Concentrating On A Few Keywords Makes More Sense Than Chasing Them All

With so many search variations, terms and words to go for in the search engines, it is amazing how many people still want to try and get everything rather than going for the ones that will offer the most immediate and rewarding return on investment. Unless you have a massive budget or a lot of spare time, chasing many keywords or key phrases is just not going to be productive, whereas going for the most important ones makes far more sense.
Many business and firms offer more than just one service in today’s modern world, with diversification often being the only choice that many have to make just to survive. Even if your business does only concentrate on one service or product, there is still going to be a variation in the ways that people are going to find you, as it is important to remember that not everyone searches in the same way when it comes to the World Wide Web.
When it comes to SEO and concentrating on getting higher traffic and more conversions, you have to try and identify the keywords that are going to be most rewarding for you and your business.
It is vital that you undertake keyword research and start to get information about how people are going to search for your service and your product. You then also need to add your own thoughts to the mix, maybe concentrating on locations or specific services. One of the most common mistakes when it comes to SEO is to simply go and chase 20 – 30 keywords, thinking that the quicker you get higher for all of them, then the more successful you will be.
Of course, if you did achieve higher rankings for all 30 keywords then you would be well away, but the chances of this happening are slim to say the least. Therefore, it is crucial that you really work out not only what you want to be top for, but to also work out what keywords and phrases are going to deliver the best returns, as quite often, you will be surprised that what you want to be top for is not always the best ROI in terms of keywords.
When looking at the keywords, you need to consider:
Traffic – Just because you think you should be top of the search engines for certain keywords, this does not mean that you are going to be bombarded with extra traffic, unless you see how much traffic these keywords attract in the first place. A major mistake for many is not checking the level of traffic a keyword attracts before really going for it, because if you spend your time and efforts getting top for a low volume keyword, then you really will be wasting your time.
Potential ROI – If you had a list of five keywords you wanted to get high for, yet when you managed to get a load of sales or bookings for these services and they offered you the lowest ROI, would it really be worthwhile? Just because you think they are the easiest keywords to get highest for, you really have to weigh up whether focusing your time on them is going to be worthwhile, because quite often the harder keywords are the more profitable.
We are not saying do not chase keywords, but what we are saying is to identify the keywords or phrases that are going to be the most rewarding for you if you manage to achieve them. Just because you search for things in a particular way, not everyone else will, so always make sure you look at the traffic volume and the alternative search terms before coming up with a list of keywords to go for.
Once you have this list you need to then identify the ones that are going to be the most rewarding for you and start to go for these. If you find any easier ones then you can always get these sorted as time goes on, but it’s much better to rank for things that will deliver you traffic and ultimately sales or bookings rather than just be top of everything for the glory of being there.

Search Plus Your World – What Will It Mean For You?

Search Plus Your World will be rolled out in the UK probably within the next few weeks, with this update looking like one of the biggest search changes that we will have seen for some time. With many people already being able to use Search Plus Your World globally, the jury is now well and truly out about whether this is a search enhancement or whether it is a sign of Google trying to dictate what we see in our results.
With Twitter and a few other sites getting a little bit upset to say the least about the changes, Google has strongly defended the new feature, but there are many people who are still unsure about whether this change is a feature worth having and using or if it just going to be a bit too much to handle over the next few months.
So, what is Search Plus Your World?
Search Plus Your World is simply a personalisation of your search results, which in all fairness, you can choose to have or choose to use the “old” search system (or will be able to soon).
When you search for something with Search Plus Your World, it will start to bring in results from people on your Google+ network, business pages, profiles and photos, meaning that the things your friends publish and talk about could soon start forming part of your search results.
But, it is not just your friends whose content you will see. The new search will bring in related information from the whole of the Google+ users (if they have permitted sharing), whether you are friends with them or not, which means that if someone has posted a picture of themselves at the local football match and you look for the match report, you could well end up seeing the photo as part of your results, plus their discussion on the game as well.
Although we are yet to see the full changes in the UK, we are looking forward to seeing how this new and more personalised search could work from a personal point of view, but also to see how it affects SEO methods and whether there will be a knee jerk reaction from the online webmaster world to try and take advantage of this new system.

Google + Pages For Business Goes Live And So Does Ours

After the massive hype over Google + and +1, the new Google + Business Pages have seemingly launched without much of a fanfare and yet they seem to be the best thing about the social aspect for Google.
The business pages are pretty much like the personal pages, but they let you:
• Display Business Information And Contacts
• Add Photos
• Upload Videos
• Display Company Updates
• Connect With Others
You can view Clear Web Services Google + Business Page here and you will quickly see that this seems like an excellent way of displaying our information to others, getting close the Facebook Business Pages and Linked In company updates.
The fact that you can also share links and new posts does pose the question about how good will this be for SEO, but, from a social point of view we think this is a superb move by Google and one that they have carried out smoothly.
It would be good if we can get better URL’s, like Facebook, but maybe this is just around the corner?

Fetch Google, Fetch!

Remember the days when webmasters had to submit their site to the search engines to make sure they go indexed and spidered?
Google has now introduced a new feature in its Webmaster tools that will allow you to tell Google about any URL’s and pages that you have added to your site or any refreshed or changed pages that require them to come and have a fresh look.
Fetch as Googlebot allows you to basically tell Google that you want their Googlebot (their spidering program) to come along, get the new or updated URL and consider it for indexing, especially useful if you do not want to wait the usual time it takes for the engine to find the links via a more natural method.
We see it being quite useful for when webmasters make the error of publishing incorrect information or maybe something they really didn’t want the world to see, because by requesting the Googlebot to fetch the URL in question can hopefully help you to change the cache of this page quicker than if you waited for a natural re-spider.
To use this feature, all you need to do is log into your Webmasters tools and head over to the Diagnostics section. Click onto the Fetch As Googlebot and then enter the URL that you want them to come and fetch. If everything goes to plan and the URL is successfully fetched you’ll see a new “Submit to index” link appear next to the fetched URL and you can now click this and off you go.
Although it is important to realise that using this doesn’t guarantee you quicker indexing or indeed any indexing, it is however great that we can now quickly identify key pages that might not be in the index or pages that are out of date and actually act on them.
